Community Spotlight

Every meeting Circle C Area Democrats is highlighting local non-profits that are meaningful to our members in a new community spotlight segment. This spotlight is presented at the beginning of each meeting and local non-profits have the opportunity to present their organization and discuss the positive impact they’ve brought to the community.

If any of our members know of or have a personal connection to an organization doing impactful work in our community, please email the CCAD board to suggest them as a speaker at a future meeting. You would additionally have the option to introduce your organization’s speaker and share you connect to or interest in the organization.

Below are the list of Community Spotlights presented at the monthly member meetings, and a brief summary of their organization:

June’s CCAD Community spotlight is on Out Youth. For 31 years, Out Youth has been a safe place for youth of all sexual orientations and gender identities to be themselves. Out Youth provides many programs and services that promote the educational, mental, emotional, physical and social development of LGBTQIA+ (lesbian/gay/bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, intersex, asexual) youth and their allies.
